Using this hood is a cost-effective solution for your business as it can be machine washed, disinfected or replaced separately to the helmet. Constructed from lightweight and comfortable Tychem, the hood offers excellent chemical resistance and conforms to the highest protection category for loose fitting headpieces, protecting the face and respiratory tract from hazardous chemicals and dirt. Vision is not compromised, due to the wide angle of the visor.
Part of the X-plore 8000 range, the hood is fully compatible with other items from the range, most specifically H40-57800 Helmet for Hood, a bump cap style helmet thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, including a hood attachment bracket for stabilisation of the helmet when wearing this hood over the top and an adjustable air outlet.
The combination of head protection and hood offers reliable protection in heavily polluted or contaminated environments, in conjunction with powered air (PAPR) or airline solutions.
