Specifically designed to be lighter weight than traditional steel toe-cap boots, the Lightyear female fit range is entirely metal-free. The entire range of safety boots, shoes and trainers provide exceptional comfort for workers on their feet all day. The water-resistant Lightyear trekker boot for example is constructed using a non-metallic composite toe and midsole with a Dual density PU, slip resistant sole. Both safety trainers and waterproof boots are also included in the range, using the same non-metallic construction, ideal for less weight, lower risk in explosive environments and less likely to trap a foot in the event of a compression accident.
